The Gideon and Sevgi Rodan Fellowship
Congratulations to Jesus Delgado-Calle our 2013 Rodan Fellowship Winner! The IBMS Awards Committee reviewed the outstanding applications we received for the 2013 Rodan Fellowship. Jesus Delgado-Calle obtained his Ph.D. in 2012 from the University of Cantabria, Spain. He has published 11 papers (8 as first author) in journals such as Bone, JBMR, CTI and AJP. Most recently, he has been working on a postdoctoral program at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
The award will be presented at the in Baltimore on Thursday, 3 October from 7:30-9:00PM at the Hilton Baltimore during the President's Dessert Reception.

The Gideon and Sevgi Rodan Fellowship
The Gideon and Sevgi Rodan Fellowship, a special fellowship to honor the service of two outstanding individuals in the field of bone and mineral research, is given annually to support the research activities of a deserving young investigator. Support is a one-year, non-renewable 40,000 USD grant payable to the successful applicant’s institution. No overhead may be paid from the fellowship. The research may be basic, translational, clinical, or outcomes-based in bone biology or diseases of the bone. Applicants and their mentors must be members of IBMS or an IBMS Member Society.
2012 Rodan Fellowship winner, Harikiran Nistala, was presented his award by IBMS President, Henry Kronenberg at the ASBMR Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
